• What a lovely weekend so far! We had rain scattered throughout the first part of the week, but yesterday was a beautiful day! As is today!
   Friday morning Dan continued with the project of taking down the fence around the front of our yard...it was getting dilapidated. It was hard to tell till storms came through and knocked the aluminum part off the wood posts! Some of the aluminum posts had burst, from what, I don't know?? I will quite enjoy mowing without it in the way, though! But I do like the looks of fence, so....I guess it's good and not so good?

  

  Danny is a good helper when it comes to outside projects with Dad!

  

  Spraying inside the fences to kill wasps. We found quite a few nests, but thankfully no one got stung!

  

  While I worked in the flower bed, Tamara took over the camera...here are a few pics she took....

  After lunch, we went to the Wesselhoeft's to swim and cool off!

  The kids had fun snorkeling, too. They liked to watch each other jump off the diving board under water to see how far down they went.

  

  We were invited to join the youth in the evening for a Potato Bar at church, followed by the movie, "Faith Like Potatoes".....a very good movie!!
   Hard at work getting the bacon fried and the rest of the fixin's ready!

  

  I entertained Collin for a bit. Someone else had my camera for most of the evening before supper, so these next few pics are compliments of ??Sammy, Beth?? not sure who else?

  Got my camera back...I like when others take pics, too...to get a different perspective! There were a few more I would have loved to post, but for the sake of keeping friends, well.....

   Time to chow....and it was good!

  

  I took a cake along to celebrate Dan's birthday which was Wednesday.
