  • Okay, so our electricity went off for no apparent reason and erased my post!!  The thunder storms we are having are not very close, so that shouldn't be the cause...you just never know in Blountstown!! LOL! Despite that, I thank God for the downpours we had tonight and for keeping me safe on the road when I went to town through those downpours!

So this morning I posted that I didn't have new pics...well, that wasn't totally true! I found some on my camera that I hadn't uploaded to my computer. So here are a few....
Friday we went to Camel Lake with some friends.... (that's Danny with the blue goggles on his head)

And Tamara...maybe watching for fish? The water was so warm and the sun was very hot. We had a great time and are looking forward to going back in July!

    Lunch time....

That evening the youth invited us to Caroline's house for game night. Danny and Tamara had fun riding on the pond in the canoe.

Us adults enjoyed a long, lively game of Apples to Apples! It was great to have some of Caroline's relatives and two of the town kids there as well! Especially since so many were gone other places!!

Today was a good day!! Met my sister Chris in Tallahassee and we spent the day shopping, had lunch at Panera Bread and got Starbucks iced coffee for the ride home! I am so thankful at least one of my sister's lives so near me!
And a BIG thank you to Amy Y. for letting the kids stay at her house while I was gone!! They had lots of fun!!
Off to bed....while the thunder rumbles on!!

  • I'm glad for you that you have a sis close enough to go shopping with!  I never ate at Panera Bread, will have to do that some time.Blessings to you!

  • Camel Lake looks nice! I've never been there. In the pictures the water looks fairly clear...is it like that really?

  • @richlyblessed84 - Yes, the water is really clear!! We should go someday! We were there on a Friday and there were only a handful of other people there. I hear Saturdays are REALLY full! Like one weekend not too long ago they estimated 150-200...that was the day a little girl slipped out of her life vest and about drowned!
