  • Co-op, Wild Adventures

Friday was the second day of the homeschool co-op carpentry class. They reviewed what they learned the first week and then worked at planing down their boards the rest of the time....

Saturday morning a group of us met at 6 AM to go to Wild Adventures for homeschool day. The sunrise was very beautiful, the sun so HUGE when it first came up, but my window of opportunity to photograph it was very small and I missed it! We had prayed for a beautiful day since there was still a 40% chance of rain. GOd answered our prayers and we had a nice, rain-free day! It was a 2 1/2 hour drive and we are so thankful for safety as well!

We ate lunch in the picnic area in the parking lot. You are not allowed to take food into the park, but at least they provide an area for you to eat in the parking lot!!

The BOOMERANG!!!  I actually got up the nerve to ride this! But...I probably won't again...roller coasters just make me feel sick  Bummer! I'd enjoy them if they wouldn't make me feel bad!
A "car" pulls you up to the top, then realeases you through a few loops, you go up the other side and stop, then go backwards the whole way again!

    100_2052

There's Samuel, Beth, Leah and Katy in the first car, being released from the top.....

Our family spent a few hours in the water park...we all enjoyed the slides and then the kids played in this big park while Dan and I rested under the shade!

The "cup" on the top just got full and tipped over....people are about to get drenched!

  • I enjoyed seeing the pics of your "Wild Adventure!" The Bug Out ride looks the same as Hershey Park's Wild Mouse. Looks like a kiddie ride till you are actually on it. I used to love roller coasters, now I'm scared half to death when I get on one.I still like the"old'roller coasters at Hershey Park but the "new"ones are too scary. Must be my age........

  • That looks like SO much fun! It's been too long since I've been on a roller coaster!
