Today was a BEAUTIFUL, sunny, warm day in the south! It was a shame to spend it indoors and the kids got 3- 100%'s in school this morning (Danny got one on his math test, one on his English test and Tamara got one on her Math Quiz. The spelling tests and Tamara's English were in the high 80's), so I decided to take them to the park in the afternoon. We also invited Amy Y. and her kids since they live nearby.
Amy getting the "fun" swing sailing! This is the highlight of Sam Atkins park for my kids!!

Seesaw time....
Gabriel showed up later...we were searching for pine nuts. I never realized that there are edible pine nuts in pine cones...guess I never wondered where pine nuts come from!

Gabriel giving the girls a turn on the "fun swing".
After we parted ways I treated the kids to Burger King's Oreo Sundaes. They just recently filled up a chart for good grades, so this was part of that reward as well!!
An old building in town by the bike trail. I think it's so unique and I'd like to take someone's pictures there someday...any one??
Swingin'
Airborne....

We had to check out the train that sits in the middle of town.
Do these kids look like they are in jail??

This is inside the caboose of the train. Primitive!!

Thank you, Jesus for my wonderful blessings~
Time is flying on......
Spies??
God gave us a beautiful sunset tonight!!! There is alot of smoke in the air from controlled burning, so it dulled the brightness of the sun and it was just gorgeous!!
My camera did not capture the awesomeness of it!!
Well, that's all for today~ Be a blessing to someone this week!!

So THAT'S where pine nuts come from...makes sense! Neat pictures, all!
I miss seeing the caboose at the end of trains! A train goes by not far from where we live, and the caboose is always missing.
Your pictures made me long for spring even more! You encourage me how you spend time doing fun things with your children, reminds me of my mother taking us places....I understand now she did it all for us! Your children will grow up on day and call you amazing!!
the pic of them both leaning out the side of the train is precious!
I like that picture of Danny and Tamara leaning out the side of the train!!
And I'm volunteering for pics in front of that building!!!

And it would look like they're in jail except that don't they usually have separate prisons for guys and gals, so...
Keep the pictures coming!! (btw, what kind of camera do u have?)

@seekinHISwisdom - I hope they look back on their childhood with fond memories!!
@cowgal4jesus - I have a Kodak Z812 ~nothing fancy....I only dream of a Cannon Rebel at this point!!
