I have lots of pictures to add sometime soon...life has been busy, yet fun! God is good...
Maybe this afternoon I'll get a chance for a real update!??

Entering Alabama....
Arriving at Water World!!
W.W. is a small water park with only 4 different attractions, the kiddie pool, the wave pool, triple water slides and the Great White!! Not alot of variety, but enough to keep ya busy for a few hours!!
Here come Anna G. and Tamara on the slides.....
and here comes Danny....
This was the Great White!! I still can't believe I went on this ride!!
But only once!! Danny & Dylan (who went twice!) are at the bottom of the pic carrying their two seater tube up the stairs... I went on a one seater. Let me tell you, that is sheer terror when you drop over the edge, but I didn't know cause I sht my eyes!! LOL!
And there they go.....
Danny says, "YES!!! That was great"!
This was the wave pool....notice the waves just starting. It would be calm for a little while, then a beeper would go, warning you that the waves were about to begin....they got pretty big!
The wave pool after dark....
Kay & I had both planned to stop at DQ on the way home, unknow to each other, so we enjoyed visiting a little longer...
Friday morning we had some early morning T-storms...this was the one thunderhead. I just love the different clouds we've been seeing this summer!
These clouds looked a little like they were trying to form something that starts with a T!! They were swirling and stayed real low. Very unique!
Sunday we were invited to Eric & Yolie's for Ian's 3rd birthday! I cannot believe he is 3 already!! I so very well remember holding him right after he was born...he was so tiny!
And now there's baby Collin.....
Danny holding him...
Ian -the birthday boy
He loved his Lightning McQueen cake!
Blow....
The most fun part....opening the presents!!
Then after that we all went over to see the progress of their new house! They are hoping to move in real soon!! I'm so excited for them!
We are looking forward to having "Aunt Esther" here this weekend...some fun times in store!! Then next weekend our family is going camping...so looking forward to that!!
Ya'll be blessed~
My one and only flower bed....
Time to get back to work....
Hopefully I can keep after Xanga a little better! It seems when I get behind it is so hard to start again!
He got me 13 red roses......
AND gave me the most beautiful tribute to our 13 years of marriage! He wrote it so beautifully it made me cry! I had kind of forgot about the poetic side of Dan!
That piece of paper will be forever treasured!!!
He was also planning to surprise me and take me out for supper....great minds think alike, they say! LOL
We chose Ruby Tuesday's and had a wonderful supper!
Pictures just don't do these roses justice....they are SO beautiful. He got them sprayed with glitter and that just doesn't show on the pics!
Happy Anniversary too, to Eric & Yolie!!
Danny weighed 10 lbs and Tamara 7 lb. 12 oz.
And now they are so big!!
Yesterday Dan came home from work early since he was getting too many hours in. He surprised Danny by taking him fishing. A few weeks ago, Danny bought his own fishing rod, so Dan taught him how to tie the line and all that. So he was excited to try out his new skills!
His bait of choice....worms!
One of the 6 catfish he caught. Five were big enough to bring home to eat!
Dad still gets the job of cleaning them!
While I had my camera outside, I wanted to take some pics of our pretty crepe myrtles....they add so much to our yard this time of year!!
We heard that they really raise property value in this area!
Mocha just waiting for someone to play with him!
Hey, there comes a friend!!
Who will win?? Well, Mocha had the upper paw on that one!
While Dan took care of the fish, Danny started mowing....he is a big help in that area this year!!
And a few more of Rosebud! We decided to try to find a home for her, but are not trying REAL hard!
She is just so cute!!
"Aahh! That was a refreshing drink!!"
Free as the wind....
The wave petunias I planted this year....
Dan's parents came tonight. They will be here for the weekend, but came especially for the special event on Sunday...
..Danny & Tamara will be baptized!
Tomorrow Janet and Tamara and I plan to go to the Farmer's Market and then can blueberry pie filling! YUM!! I also need to wash and finish mowing....unless Dan has time for that in his busy schedule?
Monday Dan & I celebrate our 13th anniversay!! It's been a wonderful, growing experience! I still remember wondering how I could possibly love Dan anymore than I did that first year we were married! Well!!!
And I'm sure in another 13 years I'll look back to now and laugh! I am happy to say that some wonderful things are happening in our marriage and I am excited about where God will lead us in the future!
~Good night ya'll~
Well, when we drove out our road it was starting to rain and storm. Almost at the end of the road there was a CUTE puppy sitting, looking all scared and lonely. As we got closer it ran off to the side of the road. Well, I just couldn't leave it there! I had boxes in the van that we were taking along to Scott's, so we stopped, the puppy came running to me and we took her home!! (in one of the boxes) When we got back home, the kids were having a blast playing with her (they named her Rosebud). She seems to be mild mannered, but we shall see....not sure if we'll actually keep her!??
They've been spending all afternoon/evening outside with her!
Who wouldn't love this face??
Giving Tamara a kiss!
Awww.....
The way she sits cracks me up!! What a pudgy little thing!
Tamara sitting with Rosebud while she sleeps.
Congratulations to Josh & Angie Y.!! YAY! They had a little girl, Jasmin Kay just a few hours ago! So happy for them!!
Have a great July 4th weekend....looks like a fun one!!
~Our Weekend~
Saturday morning we went up to Eric & Yolie's new house and helped them with painting....it's amazing how quickly 3 rollers can finish a room!
Dan painting the little boys room...I the color!!
Danny & Sean ~ trying to stay out of trouble!
Yolie doing the cutting in in the kitchen.....I love this house!!
Attack of the rollers.....
Painting the first coat in the basement....
Oh yeh...it was HOT! But it was also fun, working together!
Saturday night we went over to Roy & Kay's for supper along with Daniel & Elizabeth Bennett and their daughter. Had a great visit as usual....lots of fun, but also lots of discussion and encouragement.
Sunday Ivan preached.....getting to the end of the study in II Timothy....we also had some wonderful singing. I'd like to figure out how to share the video clip, although it doesn't do justice to how beautiful it sounded in person!! Click here to hear it!
Then a scrumptious fellowship meal followed by a Moody Science DVD on the intricacy of the human blood system. *really cool* and then to Parthenon Healthcare to sing for the elderly.
Came home, listened to the race, snoozed, cleaned up a bit and then Eric & Yolie came over for the evening...it's been ages!
Tamara had hinted often that sometime she would just LOVE breakfast in bed....so this morning, I decided to get their week off to a good start and do just that!
Menu: Eggs and bacon bits....and OJ! Neither of them can eat much for breakfast, so it didn't require much work!
Tamara sat up like lightning when I walked in and said, "Breakfast in Bed"!!
And Danny about had a cow when he realized he had slept "till 8:30"! He is usually up by 7 or 7:30!
Now they are busily playing in the living room...making their Webkinz animals talk to each other....I hope this is a sign of a good day! I'll do my part to make it that way!
Looks like a not-so-busy week (except for cleaning church) so I plan to wipe out some "hot spots" in my house!!
Hope ya'll have a great week, too!!!
Brothers, I do not consider
myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting
what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward
the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in
Christ Jesus.
